Spill proof water bottles are allowed: No large sizes like Stanleys please.

Tennis shoes are required for gym each day of the week.

Outgoing 3rd Graders: Summer 2026

                                       

Happy Summer!! As we part for our break,  I think there are a few skills that would be beneficial for all of the outgoing 3rd graders to periodically practice over the summer to avoid losing some of the new skills they gained this year. 

Multiplication Facts 2-12s: 

Some are still trying to skip count when they multiply and they need a bit more practice with straight memorization. I suggest flashcards or using this website:

I cannot emphasize this one enough: READ

Ask them to read to you 10 minutes a day, a few days a week. This is one of the most important skills they can work on.

Lastly, they have access to IXL all summer.  Their user names are their first and last name altogether.  Their passwords are their class number followed by the word "third".

Example:

Username: johnsmith

Password: 4third

They can go under "Assessments" then scroll down to see recommended skills for Math and Language.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Thank you all for entrusting me to teach these children this year.  It truly was a blessing! I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful summer!

Students are dismissed after the awards ceremony 

(more details to follow soon as I am trying to ensure that siblings' 

parents can attend all of their children's ceremonies)

It will definitely be prior to 9 a.m. Students are dismissed to leave after the ceremony.
