Students will take a quiz on the types of sentences: 1. Declarative: makes a statement and ends with a periodExample: I am in the third grade.
2. Interrogative: asks a question and ends with a question markExample: Can I borrow a pencil please?
3. Exclamatory: a statement made with enthusiasm and ends with an exclamation pointExample: That dog was huge!
4. Imperative: gives a command and ends with either a period or an exclamation pointExample: Hold the door open please.
